White hand made lampshade with double fringe.

Just working with this photo inspires me to get busy and make another one. Notice it has a double fringe on it and is fully lined which makes it twice the work. Eye candy and actually useful when done.

Kiss me Mother, kiss your darling music pedestal.

This was from a cover of a sheet music magazine approximately 100 years old. Preserved it by placing on a round sheet of plywood before attaching it to a "spindle" base . This took hours and hours but will make an unusual gift for someone. CLICK ON PHOTO FOR DETAILS.

Button Box for my mini cards.

Oh, these are so pleasurable to make and the ideas are endless.

Source Credits:
  • The background paper was an insert from one of the Somerset Studio magazines.
  • The overlay image was from The ATC Collection by Memories In The Making. I curled and painted the corners and added the butterfly.
  • Button box template is from: http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/templates.htm I just sent her a check /donation as per her website. Please do visit her site for even more templates.
Depending on the embellishments you add to each mini card - this button box will hold about 5 mini cards. Please check back to see some of the other fun ones I did using image transfers etc.

Small victorian band box made with vintage sheet music.

This box was such a treasure to make. Started with a large sheet of illustration board from Staples and measured out the sized for lid, sides and bottom. Cover each with a patchwork of vintage sheet music. On the top I stamped the bird. The "ribbon" was made from the tape transfer technique and has the see thru look. Used some old jewelry given to me for the cluster holding it all in place. It was tons of work. I did three in 3 different sizes. Will share the other at a later posting. Thanks for reading.

Decoupage tissue mini cards.

These were so much fun to do. Once card was cut I glued tissue designs with Golden's Matte Medium and while still damp embossed it with various embossing folders with my cuttlebug.
Decoupage Tissue "Garden" series by DMD. If I recall correct it came from 7 Gypsies.
Before cutting the cards I sprayed them randomly with walnut inks etc. Thanks for reading!
